Position: Customer Service Engineer

We are currently seeking to recruit IT Customer Service Engineers based at London Heathrow Airport.

Individuals must have a technical mind and/or technical experience and have had first class experience of dealing with customers in a pressurised environment.

  • Must have a strong technical knowledge of PC/Printer Hardware and Software.
  • Previous Customer Service experience (non-retail).
  • Full UK driving licence for driving airside and access to your own transport/24hr public transport to Heathrow.

This position will involve various shift patterns which will include evenings/nights/weekends/bank holidays and will cover 37.5 hours per week. Out of hours on-call duty may be required for which additional payment will be made.

Offers of employment will be subject to successfully passing a 6 month probationary period.

Employment will also be subject to you obtaining your Airside Pass – this will include satisfactory references (five year checkable history) and a Criminal Record Check.

All applicants will be required to undergo an Airside Driver Medical (including Drug and Alcohol testing) and an Airside Driving test.

Position:  German Speaking Customer Service Representative

We are currently seeking to recruit a German Speaking Customer Service Representative for our IT Servicedesk based at our office in central Letchworth. You must be fluent in both spoken and written German and English, and it is essential that you can converse easily using language of a business/technical nature.

The successful candidate will provide telephone support as a first point of contact for our German and UK based customers, allocating work to our technicians, accurately recording data and updating and monitoring systems.

This role would be ideal for a customer focussed individual who has a passion for customer service and enjoys learning and working in a fast paced environment. It could also be an ideal start to a career in IT. Previous experience within a customer service/call centre/IT helpdesk role and IT literacy is essential, however training for specific technical skills would be provided (to include ITIL).  ITIL and Comptia A+/N+ accreditations would also be advantageous.  You will have a flexible attitude to hours of work as you will be required to work on a shift pattern which covers 7 days per week, 365 days per year (including Bank Holidays) between the hours of 5am and 10pm consisting of 2 early shifts of 5am until 1.45pm, 2 late shifts of 1.15pm until 10pm and 2 days off. Must live within an easy commute to the office and access to your own transport is essential due to no public transport being available at 5am.
